Our Mission

To Inspire Rest, Fellowship and Experience God for Service to our Communities.

Our Beliefs

  • We believe in the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith in life.

  • We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and, thereby, become children of God.

  • We believe in the crucified body of our Lord, in His resurrection and ascension to Heaven, and in His present life there for us. We have a blessed hope in the imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.

  • We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility become sinners in thought, word, and deed.

  • We believe in the great commission which our Lord has given to His Church to evangelize the world, and that this is the great mission of the Church.

Campfire Bowl

It all begins with an idea, with words written on a page, with actors dressed in costume and a story comes alive on the stage at the campfire bowl each night during summer camp. It has been the place where the story of Jesus’ love for each of us unfolds. Our stage has held up for many years in the hot Arizona sun, but it is worn out and is becoming unsafe. We need to replace it and rebuild the seats that our campers sit on each night. Please help us raise $21,000 ($15,000 for the stage, $6,000 for the benches) by clicking the “Help Us Reach Our Goals” button below, and follow us on social media for updates on the process of our fundraising.

Sound Equipment

Have you ever been to a stage production and missed an actor’s line because you just couldn’t hear it? Chances are they weren’t using a microphone! This is a problem for us at Camp Yavapines and we don’t want our campers to miss out on hearing the whole story at Campfire. We have many actors and not enough microphones to go around. Our dream is to mic each actor on stage so that you don’t miss a word of the story. A wireless microphone system will cost us $10,300. Pleas help us raise these funds by clicking the “Help Us Reach Our Goals” button below, and follow us on social media for updates on the process of our fundraising.
